Scheme Details
- A mix of houses and flats are proposed to provide up to 250 dwellings on site
- All details are currently indicative, save for the proposed access.
- Matters relating to scale, appearance, landscaping and layout will be submitted at a later date should the principle of development be consented by the Council.
- All dwellings will be designed to meet national minimum space standards and accessibility standards, as well to accord to daylight and sunlight requirements.
- Each proposed dwelling will benefit from ample private garden space or access to communal amenity space which will accord the guidance set out in the Council’s adopted Design Code.
- Proposed dwellings will incorporate EV charging points, secured cycle storage areas and refuse bin storage to facilitate curb-side collection.
- Dwellings will be highly insulated and heated by an air source heat pump. Each will feature a range of energy saving measures, to be discussed with the Council and stakeholders
- A mix of hardstanding, soft landscaping and drainage features will be provided as part of a SUDS strategy.
- Substantial planting is proposed to increase tree cover and provide an onsite 10% BNG increase.
- Future occupiers will have convenient access to an expansive communal areas (POS) and children’s play space, as well as 12.95 hectares of SANG, which will deliver the opportunity for additional outdoor informal recreation.
